Dr. Seymour M. Weaver, III, M.D.
Seymour M. Weaver, III, M.D. was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended college in upstate New York at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and went on to earn his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, then complete an internship in medicine at the Los Angeles County/USC medical center. After this internship, Dr. Weaver decided to specialize in dermatology, completing a three-year U.C.L.A. affiliated dermatology residency program at Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Center. His training was extensive and included outpatient as well as inpatient preceptorships in plastic surgery. Following this he achieved his board certification.

RECOGNIZED LEADER SPECIALIST
Over the course of his career Dr. Weaver has become a recognized leader and specialist in hair loss treatment. He is well known for his extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of hair loss and scalp disorders and is frequently featured in both local and national media, including Essence and Oprah Magazine. In addition to publishing his own book on hair loss, Dr. Weaver was also used as a dermatological resource for an educational book used by hair dressers in the United Kingdom, titled “African Type Hairdressing” by Sandra Gittens.
After more than three decades of dedicating his career to cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology, Dr. Weaver saw the need for a medical facility totally dedicated to hair loss and scalp disorders, especially for women, and opened the Houston Hair Loss Clinic to proudly serve the people of his home city.
